This weekend, Lily Academy hosted a meaningful Grade 9 Parents’ Meeting, bringing together parents and teachers with one shared goal: supporting our learners to succeed.
As our Grade 9 learners prepare for their national examinations, the meeting highlighted that success goes beyond revision and academic performance. Learners also need confidence, discipline, emotional support and encouragement from both school and home.
Discussing Progress and Challenges
Parents and teachers had an opportunity to reflect on the progress of the learners, discuss challenges they may be facing and share ideas on how best to support them.
The conversations focused on practical ways parents and teachers can work together to help learners stay focused, motivated and prepared for the next stage of their education.

A strong partnership between parents and teachers can make a big difference in a learner’s journey.
When school and home work together, learners receive consistent guidance and encouragement. They are better supported academically, socially and emotionally as they approach an important stage in their education.
